A 50-mile Run, Without The Scotch (The Connecticut Day)

Connecticut's Pam Dolan has a great article about doing the Stone Cat 50-miler. I love the recap of of Race Director who acknowledges two dead in previous runs, and one who broke her femur at mile 47.5 only to return for revenge two years later. Check it out here.

  1. Pam's article is great. The race was a good time. Also want to point out a correction that the race is the Stone Cat 50 Miler and not the Virginia Massanuttten. I enjoy your site.

  2. Thanks for posting Pam's article, Scott. The only thing I can't undertand about her race is why she passed up the scotch. I had a Jack and Coke on both laps 2 and 3 and they ure made my day a whole lot more enjoyable. :-)

    Great blog!

  3. Thanks for the correction, Scott.

Jack and Coke on laps 2 and 3, you're crazy! I'll have to give that a shot. (ha, ha)
