  1. Nice list!
Think you meant Massanutten (instead of masochist). Both of them will leave your ankles swollen, so no diff I guess. Which are you shooting for?

    1. Yes, thanks for that correction! Aside from putting my name in for WS100 and Miwok, I'm just now thinking about it. Recommendations welcome!

  3. I think you meant Massanutten Mountain 100 not Mountain Masochist 100.

  4. It's notable that Miwok (or is that UltraSignup?) wants your $167 first, ask questions later... but perhaps that's well justified given the demand... I'll personally gladly play along and I don't have any issues with this sequence whatsoever.

  5. Tahoe Rim Trail isn't lottery but opens Jan 1 (I think at midnight). It's getting pretty popular now.

  6. At least at WS they don't whack you for the $370 (ouch!) til after you beat the odds against being picked, which are like 1 in 10. Not sure if I'm hoping to be picked or spared!

  7. @Vladimir, unless I'm mistaken and based on my previous experiences, Tia/Mark would not touch to your credit card until/unless you are picked except to check it's a valid one. But the idea is that you cannot retract if your name gets picked in the hat.
