Scott Dunlap Interviewed on Ultrarunnerpodcast.com

I had the great pleasure of speaking with the gang at Ultrarunnerpodcast.com, one of the best new channels of content for ultrarunning to come along in years. We spoke about training, short and long distance racing, work/life balance, seeing God in the night sky at Western States after 15 hours with almost no calories, favorite beers, why my Dad is my hero (and the perfect crew member), my upcoming race at Wasatch, and more. It was a lot of fun!

If you like it, be sure to check out all their other great interviews with the likes of Tim Twietmeyer, Ellie Greenwood, Geoff Roes, Hal Koerner, Jimmy Dean Freeman, Dr. Sunny Blende, and more. If you're like me, you'll be hitting "refresh" daily on their podcast channel eagerly awaiting the next one.

- SD

BTW, shout out to Team Inov-8 teammate Dave James for winning the Burning River 100m in 15:57 to become the USATF 100-mile National Champion!

  1. Huh! I have been listening to Endurance Planet, but rarely with much enthusiasm, especially since their new host(ess) is not an ultrarunner unlike the prior host. I'll have to check this out. Thanks!

  3. Great podcast. I'm sort of a nerd for this format and I think these two guys do a pretty good job. Hopefully they are rewarded and the show continues to grow. -Marcus

  5. Thanks for doing the interview. I agree with the poster above that I've listened to Endurance Planet for years but it's lost some of it's gusto for ultrarunning since the new hostess took over. Not to say that she is doing a bad job, but she's taken it more to a multi-sport podcast so it's nice to have a great forum for ultras again. Great interview, great blog and look forward to more from you and your team in the future.
