She hogs the Sharkies, but she keeps me smiling. ;-)

  1. I think I just keeled over and died with an acute case of the cutes! So adorable!!

  2. Now THAT'S the way to have a recovery run/walk. She will have a love for trails long before she fits in a pair of Inov-8's.

  4. As the father of three daughters, I relate 100%. My recovery "runs" with them were in the pool, they're all swimmers. Good for you!

  9. Yes, a classic micro-post! You hooked me with the title (what? why would you need a pacer on recovery days?) then suckered me into the cuteness vortex!

A good reminder to see the trails through the eyes of a child, particularly the next time you find yourself forgetting how lucky you are to run trails.

  13. what a sweet pic! You've got such a great blog--I loved the recount of the Boston Marathon with your Dad.

I probably won't be able to qualify until I'm in my 60's :o) but it gives me something to look forward to.

  14. This is the shortest post I have ever read on this blog, but packs more content than anything I've read all month. You get it, dude. You totally get it.

  15. Hey, that a great picture. But, I was wondering where I could get a Inov-8 tee shirt. At the store I cannot find any locations online. I would be great if you could help me out.

  16. Scott - unless you think of it as a "Generation Thing", this comment is sort of out of place. Nonetheless, I hope you brag up your dad's fantastic finish at the Rhododendron 10K yesterday (16th overall and best in his age division by over 18 minutes!!!). What a great time he had - especially for a hilly course - well, especially if you're 67 (I think he might be lying about that though). Nice guy, your dad. I hope you inherited all of his genes.
